1. About these terms

This website is run by Angels Care Association, a non-profit association in Namibia (“we”, “us”). By submitting any form on this website you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Requests for support

• Asking for support does not guarantee that we will help. Our help depends on the funds we have and on our evaluation of each request, and may be financial assistance, guidance, or both.
• The information and documents you give us must be true and complete. If they are not, we may decline the request, and we may decline future requests from the same person.
• If you ask on behalf of someone else, you confirm that they know about the request and agree to us using their details to evaluate it.
• We may consult medical experts and verify the information you give us.
• Where we help with a cost, we may pay the doctor, hospital or medical aid directly rather than the applicant.
• Our decisions are made with care and at our discretion, and are final.

3. Donations

• Donations are voluntary and are used to support our mission, at our discretion.
• Donations are not refundable, except where one was made in error. Let us know within 30 days at AngelsCareNam@gmail.com and we will put it right.
• Donation certificates are issued on request once your gift has reached our account.

4. Monthly pledges

• A pledge made on this website is a statement of intent. Nothing is debited until you have signed and returned our debit order form.
• You may change or stop your pledge at any time by emailing AngelsCareNam@gmail.com. Please allow us time to stop the next debit.

5. Event tickets

• Tickets reserved for payment by direct deposit are held for 3 days. If payment has not reached us by then, the reservation lapses and the seats are released.
• Each ticket’s QR code can be used once. Please keep it private.
• Tickets are not refundable, but you may give your ticket to someone else. If we cancel an event, we will refund your ticket in full.
• Details of an event (such as the programme or venue) may change; we will let ticket holders know of any important change.
• We may refuse entry, or ask anyone to leave, where this is needed for the safety and comfort of others.
• Joining a waiting list does not guarantee a ticket. Seats that free up go to whoever books first.
• Photographs are taken at our events (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Using this website

Please use this website only for its intended purposes. The text, photographs and design on it belong to Angels Care Association or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our consent.

7. Our responsibility

We do our best to keep this website accurate and available, but cannot promise that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that arises from using the website or from relying on information on it.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.
